Sharvari Raje

Sharvari is an architect and urban designer who is deeply passionate about equitable urban development. She believes in the power of data to inform design and understand eventual impacts, and often invests in dissecting systemic exclusionary practices by working with communities on a grassroots level. She also works with urban spatial data for reporting and journalism, using storytelling as a tool for advocacy. Her project work includes urban design for the Eastern Queens Gateway in New York, the Port of Newburgh revitalization, also in New York, and Union Point real estate development in Massachusetts. Campus work includes the George Mason University master plan and the University System of New Hampshire space utilization study and master plan guidelines. Sharvari holds a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from NMIMS' Balwant Sheth School of Architecture in India.
